KPSC Vacancy explanation: 

Total Number of Vacancies: 550

Name of the jobs:

1. Assistant Engineer

i. Civil: 365 Vacancies

ii. Mechanical: 40 Vacancies

2. Junior Engineer

i. Civil: 131 Vacancies

ii. Mechanical: 14 Vacancies

Age Bounds: All interested and eligible candidates age should be in the range 18 to 33 years as on Feb 11th -1999. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Academic track: All interested and eligible candidates should have to completed Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Diploma Certificate from a recognized Institute of Engineers regarding have to pass in Parts-A & B of the A.M.I.E for Assistant Engineer Posts, have to qualify Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic in Karnataka or have to clear equivalent qualification for Junior Engineer Posts.

Rate of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates required to pay Rs. 300/- for General, Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and Rs. 25/- for SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, Ex-MP-Ex-Military Persons.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply through online mode from the official and authorized website www.kpsc.kar.nic.in available from Aug 26th 2014 to Sept 25th 2014.

1. All Candidates are advised to scan their photograph, signature before applying online.

2. Candidates have their valid e-mail id.

3. Navigate and log on to the website www.kpsc.kar.nic.in.

4. Search and find then click on ‘Application for Special Recruitment to the Posts of Assistant Engineer/ Junior Engineer in Water Resources Department’.

5. Choose and select the ‘I Accept I have gone through the above instructions’ and click on ‘Open Application’.

6. Need to click on ‘Apply’ to open the online application form of appropriate post.

7. Enter the details like Personal, Educational qualification, Age, Relaxation, Contact Details carefully.

8. Submit the application form to finish, application number and password will be generated.

9. Edit the application by using Application number & Password correctly.

10. It is compulsory to upload photograph & signature by clicking on ‘Photo & Sign Upload’ by entering Application number & Password.

11. Print the Application to make a hard copy by select the ‘Print Application’, and take print out for future reference.

12. Make sure and pay the fee by select the ‘Payment Details’ by entering application ID & Password.

13. Take print out to make a hard copy of Challan form and pay the fee.
